Your sound mixer has arrived and principal photography has begun for Seven Hours in Heaven! …and to call this location “heaven” might even be an understatement. We are about to spend 8 days in a cabin with some of our closest friends, making a feature film about some of the closest friends in a cabin for 8 days. Shot on a palen….drone, haha!
This really is one of my most favorite productions to-date and possibly of all time. There is something fascinating about jamming a cast & crew of ~20 in a single location for 8 days & nights of 12-16 hour days on a passion project. Many in the business know I am famous for saying the following and this project was no exception: “Handshakes on the first day; Hugs & tears on the last.” (addendum: “and nuttin’ but art in between!” <-- I think I will begin adding that third part. It was born in this very post--yippee! As I’ve promised in all of these starter stories: I will add more here later! Promises, promises, promises…but alas, this is but a simple launch of a new website and I need to get back to…well…rolling sound!
